Should you be travelling, we wish you a safe and enjoyable journey. If your child maintains a journal at school, please encourage him/her to write a few lines a day about the day’s events and places seen.
There are many events happening in and around Singapore too, and we have provided the links to some of these which may be of interest to you.

CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION
It was undoubtedly an exciting end to the week, going into the mid-term break. While most schools closed today, we happily celebrated Children’s Day with the children, playing games ('Egg and Spoon' Race, 'Tic, Tac, Toe', running a relay, 'Duck, Duck, Goose'), watching movies, doing some zany face painting, dancing and making pancakes to eat with strawberries and chocolate sauce (yum!). Here are some photographs of what we did!
Morning
Extended-Day
Cookery - The children of the extended-day (Montessori and BDB sessions) made pizza for their afternoon snack. Trust us, when we say that most pizzerias should be worried! They were sooooo good! Made from scratch, with crunchy fresh vegetables, and everything else that goes to make a gourmet pizza, the children produced colourful and tasty pizzas that looked almost too good to eat. That was not a problem though as not a crumb was left! Ahh..home made, goodness!
Craft - They made different animals and flowers using felt and spoons.
